Our Story
How SoundGen Began
Sound Gen Financial was born out of the Entrepreneur Academy at South Puget Sound Community College located In Olympia, Washington where a group of students came together to solve real problems under the guidance of visionary mentors like Omey Nandyal. What started as a learning program in innovation quickly became a mission: to simplify financial systems and make them more accessible.
We recognized that one of the biggest challenges students' faces isn’t academic, it’s financial. Navigating aid, managing costs, and finding the right resources often create unnecessary stress that derails success. SoundGen was created to bridge that gap. Not just for colleges, but for communities and generations.
Today, we apply the skills we built in the academy to the real world, helping students access the support they need to stay on track, graduate, and build a future without financial barriers holding them back. Growing from the college scene, SoundGen Financial plans to bridge the gap for the communities around us.
From a classroom idea to a growing company, SoundGen represents the power of mentorship, innovation, and community. Together with our partners and sponsors, we’re empowering finances for the generations.
